The goal for the exterior and interior design of this one story, 50,000 s.f. building was to take the client’s industrial building and transform it into a life science building that meets their standards. In order to do this, we reconfigured the entire building to accommodate Life Science Labs with shared amenities for all tenants.

The new design includes shade structures at various heights, architectural aluminum cladding at four corners of the building, and a new glassy building entry. The entry landscape was also reworked to support the new architectural elements. The design intent for the interior was to bring a fresh new perspective evoking the feel of nature in SoCal with warm woods accented with blue glass and sandy pebbles in prominent locations.
