  1. ID Studios Awarded Perkins Coie Office Expansion Project

    ID Studios has been selected to provide interior design services for Perkins Coie LLP, a 900-lawyer firm with 19 offices across the United States and Asia, as they expand and renovate their existing offices in Carmel Valley.

    “Our significant growth in San Diego has meant a need for more offices and space for client meetings and events,“ said Thane Bauz, Office Managing Partner of Perkins Coie’s San Diego office. “We’re excited about the energy and creativity that ID Studios will bring to our project and are looking forward to showcasing our new space once it’s all done.”

    ID Studios Principal, Amy Morway added, “This expansion allowed our design team to relocate and ‘right-size’ the lobby, conferencing suite, and flex spaces for Perkins Coie, improving functional efficiency as well as providing greater opportunities for collaboration and events at their office. The introduction of new architectural elements and finishes throughout will bring a fresh, modern energy to their existing space. It has been a truly collaborative effort.”

  2. ID Studios Awarded USD Beyster Institute For Nursing Project

    ID Studios has been selected by the University of San Diego to provide Interior Design services for the Betty and Bob Beyster Institute for Nursing Research, Advanced Practice and Simulation. The Design and Executive Architect is gkkworks in association with The S/L/A/M Collaborative.

    The project is a three-story, 27,000 s.f. LEED gold building which will enable innovative clinical nursing research and the preparation of nurse scientists. It will also provide a premier Simulation and Standardized Patient Nursing Laboratory to prepare advanced practice for registered nurses.

    The first floor will house the Simulation and Standardized Patient Nursing Laboratory. The second floor provides multiple classrooms and a faculty suite with expandable classrooms. The third floor will be devoted to research and doctoral student education including the Kathryn S. Krause Doctoral Research Library and Study.

    Sally Brosz Hardin, dean of the nursing school said, “There is no other institute for nursing research of this kind in the United States. I am so grateful to Mrs. Beyster and the whole Beyster family. They understand the importance of nursing research and advanced practice for the future of healthcare for San Diego, for all of California and the country.”

  3. ID Studios Awarded Clarivest Asset Management Design Project

    ID Studios has been selected to provide planning services for ClariVest Asset Management, LLC as they select a new location for their offices in the city of San Diego.

    San Diego based ClariVest is an institutionally-focused asset management company who manages more than $3 billion in client assets and markets its investment services to corporate and public pension plans, foundations, endowments and Taft-Hartley clients worldwide.

  4. ID Studios Awarded SDSU Storm & Nasatir Hall Design Project

    ID Studios has been selected to provide space planning and FF&E services for San Diego State University’s renovation of their 137,000 s.f. Storm & Nasatir Halls. Construction is due for completion during the fourth quarter of 2013.

    The renovation of this building complex has been long awaited as it is one of the older buildings on campus, having originally been constructed in 1957.

    Deborah Elliott, principal at ID Studios has this to say about the project, “We’re excited to work with SDSU on yet another project as we help bring new life to this vintage building.”
